Doug Pauley, MBA, CFP® , AIF®, Managing Principal, dpauley@pauleyfinancial.com

Doug received his Bachelor of Science (Economics) degree from the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point in 1981 having served as one of the four cadet regiment commanders. Commissioned into the United States Army, Doug served as an Airborne, Ranger, field artillery officer.

After earning his MBA from Harvard in 1988, Doug taught courses in personal finance, investments, and economics while serving as an Assistant Professor at West Point from 1988 through 1991. Because of his interest in personal finance, teaching, and helping others, Doug completed an extensive course of study through the College for Financial Planning, earning the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in 1991. As part of his ongoing education effort, Doug earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies in 2005.

Doug has been quoted in national and local publications including The Wall Street Journal, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine, Investment Advisor magazine, Investment News, Senior Market Advisor, the Austin Business Journal, and the Austin American-Statesman. In addition, he has contributed chapters to two books and regularly makes presentations to church, civic, and business groups.

In 2003, Doug was selected to help train those studying to become Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) practitioners by teaching the introductory course, "Fundamentals of Financial Planning," and the capstone course, "Strategies and Case Studies" for the University of Texas Financial Planning Certificate Program. In 2006, he was honored for “Excellence in Teaching.”

 

Kimberly V. Pauley, Principal,  kpauley@pauleyfinancial.com

Kimberly joined Pauley Financial in 2008 as a Principal of the firm, after having consulted to PFSI for six years in the areas of technology and operations. She is a 25 year veteran in Information Systems, founding the industry's leading technology consulting firm servicing Wealth Management firms. Kimberly graduated with a BS in Mathematics, a degree in Secondary Education, and became a graduate of the College of Financial Planning as a Registered Paraplanner in 2002.

 

 

Brian A. Cox, Principal, bcox@pauleyfinancial.com

Brian received his Bachelor of Science (Economics) degree from the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point in 1995. Following graduation, he completed Airborne, Air Assault, and Ranger training, and served as an artillery officer. At the completion of his active service, Brian volunteered for Reserve Officer duties, and was later called back to serve in Baghdad as a member of the Special Staff for the Commanding General of the Multi-National Forces-Iraq.

After earning his MBA from the University of Michigan in 2003, Brian followed his lifelong passion for investing by joining the JPMorgan Private Bank as an Investment Associate in New York. He has taken on positions of increasing responsibility in the asset management industry, most recently as a Principal of WestSpring Advisors, LP. He has managed institutional and high net worth client relationships globally, and his background and experience in both traditional and alternative asset classes appropriately complement Pauley Financial. He has served as a panelist and industry awards judge for various institutional industry groups and publications.

Brian is married with three sons. He enjoys triathlons and volunteering - as a youth coach, as a Service Director for the Wounded Warrior Mentorship programs, and as an active member of his church. Brian and his family now reside in New Braunfels, Texas.

As a PMI©-certified project manager, Kerri helps our clients with execution of all things "financial".  Her experience in business consulting, management, and operations for Registered Investment Advisory firms has prepared her to enact high quality, client-centric practices.  Kerri has a BS degree in Computer Science and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management.
