Personal Finance Education for Teens to Retirees
"The wisest mind has something yet to learn."
- George Santayana
We offer topic-specific personal finance classes generally the last week of every month. The majority of the classes are scheduled from 6:45pm - 8:15 pm at the Bridlewood Golf Club's Executive Board Room in Flower Mound or at Heritage FUMC Grapevine. The price of each class is $15/class/student and all proceeds are donated to charitable organizations. The courses are rotated to focus on topics of interest to these age groups:
A) Early Teens (Grades 7-9)
B) Late Teens (Grades 10-12)
C) The Rest of Us!
The material is age-appropriate, interactive, informative and fun! The primary instructor is Doug Pauley MBA, CFP®, AIF®. Doug is a West Point (Economics) graduate, a Harvard Business School graduate, and a past instructor at West Point and UT Austin for the Certified Financial Planner program. He's also a father of three Early Teen children.
In addition to the regularly scheduled classes, we offer customized programs for groups, including church groups, Boy Scouts, etc. Please feel free to contact us to discuss a program for your group's needs.
Pre-registration is required for all classes scheduled at Bridlewood and at Heritage FUMC Grapevine as seating is limited.

"It is frequently said that children do not know the value of money. This is only partially true. They do not know the value of YOUR money. They deeply know the value of their OWN money."
- Judy Markey
