In short, we are business owners and parents, trying to prepare our children for life beyond our home. Since we work in the financial services industry, we see first-hand the impact that a lack of financial education/understanding can have on people. By the time clients seek out an independent advisor, many have made substantial mistakes which has set back their ability to achieve their life goals. And so, we’ve decided to take a proactive approach within our community for our teens and adults to try to provide “an ounce of prevention instead of a pound of cure.” To that end, we’ve developed

Kimberly Victoria Pauley is the Chief Operating Officer and the Chief Technology Officer for Pauley Financial Services, Inc. She is a 25 year veteran of the Information Systems industry, founding the industry's leading technology consulting firm servicing Wealth Management firms.Kimberly graduated with a BS in Mathematics, a degree in Secondary Education, and became a graduate of the College of Financial Planning as a Registered Paraplanner. She is also the chief architect and driving force behind our
program.
R. Douglas Pauley, MBA, CFP®, AIF® is a Fee-Only™ financial advisor and the principal of Pauley Financial Services, Inc. (PFSI) – a Registered Investment Advisor. He received his Bachelor of Science (Economics) degree from the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point in 1981, graduating in the top 4% of his class and having served as one of the four cadet regiment commanders. Commissioned into the United States Army, Doug served as an Airborne, Ranger, field artillery officer.
After earning his MBA from Harvard in 1988, Doug taught courses in personal finance, investments, and economics while serving as an Assistant Professor at West Point from 1988 through 1991. He also is an instructor at UT Austin for the Certified Financial Planner™ program.
